Can someone help me, I am getting this error when trying to run this perl
program, only in AIX though, in Solaris runs good:

Quantifier follows nothing before HERE mark in regex m/+ << HERE / at
./batch_notify line 744, <DATA> line 12

The following is around line 744

 for my $i ( 0 .. $#batches ) {
            if ( ($schedule =~ $batches[$i]{schedule}) && ($batchname =~
$batches[$i]{batchname}) ) {
                $tivclass = $batches[$i]{class};
            }
        }
