Ahhhh.

I've had enough trying to get Win32::Perms working. It just doesn't seem to
behave as the docs say, and I have trouble getting any kind of error info
back. I'm having no end of problems.

Can anyone else recommend a tool that will a) take ownership of some
directories, b) apply a set of controls to those directories. c) possibly
return ownership to another user. d) apply the new access/ownership to all
subdirectories of the main directory.

Or provide a script that will work. The problem is complicated by the fact
that the existing directories have their current ownerships and permissions
all over the place. Some of them are owned by administrator, and some of
them aren't. Some of them have administrator/full control set, and other's
don't let administrator in at all.

Please, someone somewhere must know some tool that can help.
It was all so much easier in OS/2
