Checking WINS configuration of remote computer in perl

Hi all,

how can I check the WINS configuration of a remote computer? Do I have to
read the registry? If yes where do I find the necessary information there.
Is there also a direct way in perl to get this information? Is there a
special module I should use? Any hints or code examples welcome.
