Hi All,

Question for all the Guru's -

I have a Perl script that is going to run in the context of the current user
but I want it to then spawn a process that runs as a different user. I have
looked at RUNAS but could not get it to work without the user having to
enter the password of the new process and I have looked at the Reskit
utility - SU, but this needs a service installed and I could not get the
thing to work properly after I had installed it. I would prefer the script
to not use 3rd party utilities and just use Perl so it there any way to do
this?

Any help gratefully received,

Darin
