I have a backup application which copies client files from the primary disk to a removable hard disk. What I need to be able to do is send a message to the operator to insert the appropriate disk. Mount it, perform the backup for that client, unmount it, and repeat the process for each client's files. The drives are in carriers and are hot plugable drives. This setup has to work in two environments: Windows NT 4.0 SP6a Windows 2000 Server SP1 Both with Perl build 622 or later. Any ideas? ego Edward G. Orton, GWN Consultants Inc.
