Well...
You can get the users current password age by using Dave Roth's
Win32::AdminMisc (http://www.roth.net/perl/adminmisc/).

How to get the system settings for password policies? Do not know. Check
MSDN.MICROSOFT.COM.

Subject: How to determine domain password expiration setting

I need to develop a script that will check when a users password is about to
expire. Management wants me to email them a reminder with instructions...
why... that's another story...

>From Win32::Lanman::NetUserEnum($domain, $filter, \@user) I can get the
password age in seconds in ${$user}{'password_age'}.

I need to programmatically determine the domain policy on password
expirations to compare to this value.

I haven't had much luck finding where I could pick up the domain password
expiration policy value. Does anyone know or have an idea where I should
look? I am hoping that it is in Lanman somewhere. Lanman is fantastic
module!

Due to the current budget constraints, the light at the end of the tunnel
will be turned off until further notice.
