I do it all the time... be warned netdom that comes with windows nt resource kit and netdom that comes with win2k resource kit have a little diffrent syntax or something... i know there is some quirkyness i just cant remember what. regardless they should work and add machine accounts to the samba pdc or an nt pdc. if not you may have to create the machine account on the samba domain with smbpasswd... i dont remember the syntax exatly but try smbpasswd --help and it should feed you the switch to create machine accounts.

Is there any simple way to add a Win-Box to a (Samba)Domain without any interaction from a user/admin sitting in front of the box? (The Box is known in the domain) I saw a thread like this before, and I tried to modify the script posted there, but it didn't work. Thanks in advance for any help and hints!
