The closest thing to what you are looking for is Win32::SetupSup. It was
made for exactly that purpose. I think you can still get it from Jenda's
PPM repository.

PPM> set repository jenda http://jenda.krynicky.cz/perl
PPM> install win32-setupsup

Subject: Sending key strokes to a w32 application

Hi,
Wondering if anybody did this before, at least I hope to get some ideas
where to start, here what I want to do:

I want to send key strokes to an win32 applications. Best would be to
start
this application from an Perl script and then send key strokes like
"tab,
return, return, tab, tab, return..." to that application.
I guess I have to find out a kind of window handle and then send the key
strokes to that handle but I have no idea how to do that from Perl.
This would be very beneficial to install and configure applications
which
have no unattended install procedure.
Any ideas?

Andreas.
