I am trying to compare directory permissions and am having a bit 'o trouble...
I used the $sd = Win32::Perms->GetSD(); to retrieve a security descriptor from each directory (parent and child). Each directory has the same ACLs/ACEs. When I try to compare the two $sd strings with each other, they do not match. I have reloaded and enumerated the $sd string into Perms objects and they do contain the same ACLs/ACEs but the order is different. Is that it or are anonymous arrays like hashes (not sorted). Can I match these with "eq" or "=" and if not, can I match them at all? Or do I need to enumerate and compare the SD contents in loops? Thanks much in advance.
