Joseph,

Here are some other option to check out.

1). Win32::GUI  - may be downloadable from CPAN

2). wxPerl may be simple enough for you.  see http://sourceforge.net/projects/wxperl/

3). wxDesigner Product - cost money . see http://www.roebling.de/default.html

Subject: Opinions requested - simplest screen design tool that integrates with Perl

Group,

Some years ago I used a simple design tool to make simple input screens with perl (on unix only). With passage of time, changes in Unix and the author leaving the project behind, I lost track of the tool. I am now writing on windows and I would like to know the simplest tool that you may have encountered for production of simple stand-alone screen entry system - text or windows.

I normally use cgi for all projects but I have need of creation of a simple entry system that will put a screen and allow my perl script in the background to do the editing and communicating of errors to the user.  I have looked at Loft and Tk but that is going to require a major learning curve for which, at present, I can not afford the time.

Any and all observations would be most appreciated.

Thanks.
