I agree. And if you w9x machine are connected to a WIN nt server, you can make change to registry through a KIXTART script started at netlogon share folder.

Also, specifically for Registry editing, if the Remote Registry service is installed you can pull up Regedit on your PC locally and click Registry -> Connect Remote Registry and type in their Computer Name and it will open their registry for editing.
