I'm not sure, but Spreadsheet::ParseExcel and Spreadsheet::WriteExcel might
do what you want.

Subject: perl win32, excel, and non Microsoft platforms

Hi all
What I'm trying to do is to write a CGI script which will update an Excel
file. I know it can be done with the Win32 module, but what I am uncertain
about is if the various functions held in the win32 module can be used on a
non-Microsoft platform.

In other words, if I write the script in Perl, and run it on a Microsoft web

server, can I use the same script on a Linux or Novell web server, provided
the relevant Excel file is present on the server.

Can anybody help please?

Neil
