Chapter 5 is dedicated to pattern matching through regex and nearly the rest of the book has some form of regex in every example. That chapter is dog-eared and well-worn from constant referencing and flipping through.
I dont know about everyone else, but some form of regex goes into every code i write, from snippit scripts to modules.

I am thinking of purchasing a book call Mastering Regular Expression Second Editionby Jeffrey E. Friedl
Can anyone give any opinions on this book and if it will be helpful. If not, can anyone suggest a good Perl book that explains regular expressions. This is where I think I will be using Perl the most.
Thanks Mario
