An addendum: I just tried to run a Win32::Daemon service on another
machine with Windows 2003.

Can't seem to make it work there either.

One of the services returns the same 1053, another dies after a few
seconds and windows says that no error was returned.

Strange, I've not had this problem before.

Perl 5.8.3 build 809
Win32::Daemon 20030617

Thanks,

Jared
