Dave, Actually it does not lose the selection in the list view, it only appears that way. If you go to an outside application and then back to the gui window the item is still selected but not highlighted. If you put the focus back on the list view itself and not on the main gui window you will see the selection still there. You can do that by clicking on the list view headers for example.
