Hi,

Steve fixed a bug with the treeview about 10 days ago which may fix your
problem - can you build your own Win32::GUI?

See the following link for more details:

http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/perl-win32-gui/Win32-GUI/TreeView.

cheers,

jez.

        Subject: [perl-win32-gui-users] TreeView problem

        All,

I have a Win32::GUI script that creates quite a large TreeView
list. It worked fine with a previous version of Perl and Win32::GUI but
now crashes if I try and stuff too much into the listing. The script
is quite happy creating the TreeView with about 2600 nodes and then
crashes when I create the child nodes, It manages to create about 15800
before it quits with no errors. As each node has about 15 child nodes,
this means its getting about half way through the process.

I have installed Win32-GUI-0.0.670-PPM-5.8 and I am using
ActivePerl 5.8.0.806

I think it may be a bug that has crept into Win32::GUI and any
help greatly received.

        Darin
