I am having a problem where the Labels and Button labels are not
appearing on one system, but are appearing on another system. Both
systems are Windows XP SP2, running cygwin/perl 5.8.8. My sample code
is below:

appears to have similar symptoms to this problem, put I am not using
perlapp. When I copied the sample manifest file into
"perl.exe.manifest", I was able to see the button text. However, I
still cannot see the labels.
Any help/suggestions are much appreciated!
