Same question here.  I heard that PERL is THE language to learn.  I’m going to be trying to use it on the Win32 platform.  Anyone seen any good books on this?  Is this book any good for registry editing, etc ->  Win32 Perl Scripting: The Administrators Handbooks

I know, I know.  PERL is mainly for Linux/Unix type Admin and you’re thinking “What is this Windoze user doing”?.  Unfortunately all of my office use Windows 2000 not Linux.

I must admit I have not touch programming a few years but want to get back into it.  Been working on desktop, servers, and remote support.

Thanks!

Subject: where could I get more information about running remote perl scripts?

Hi all,

I am a beginner to perl. Could anybody suggest me some URLs/Books where I could get info abt running  PERL scripts remotely, passing arguments and getting return values.... may be using rsh.

Thanks,
