Hi guys I see XML-RPC generally used in the context of web services and am wondering if Perl's XML-RPC modules can be utilized to communicate between 2 perl processes on the same machine, exchanging arbitrary perl data structures. I agree that there are other approaches to exchange arbitrary perl data structures between two processes, but want to explore if XML-RPC can serve the purpose.
