Hi Hugh, That's a good question, and I am personally not qualified to give an answer (I'm not a lawyer). I think the more interesting point to make is that, given the other repositories available, ActiveState doesn't really have to. Randy ( and crazyinsomniac, and bribes.org ) are able to fill in the gaps for us. <gets on soapbox> This is where I would like to put credit where credit is due. By far the most useful ting you can use related to ppm / Win32 is not on ActiveState's site, it is Randy's CPAN search engine: http://cpan.uwinnipeg.ca/htdocs/faqs/cpan-search.html We're looking seriously at replicating this sort of functionality on ASPN down the road, and I admit this is the sort of thing that should have been done by us up-front to support ppm technology. Randy makes my job much easier to do by providing this service. </gets on soapbox> cheers, JeffG > > Hugh > > On 6/10/05, jeff griffiths <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > On Fri, Jun 10, 2005 at 10:18:10AM -0400, Charles Maier wrote: > > > I am having some problems getting hold of and installing Crypt::Ssleay. > > > I found the Winnipeg repository has the module and Activestate does > > > not!!
