I've had to deal with these dialogs that wanted to do something that I
didn't.  All u have to do is drag the window off screen and ignore it.  If u
just need an unmissable warning, just make the window equal to the screen
size.  That way there's no way they can say "I didn't see it".  I had to
deal with an application timer like u describe when I was on vacation once.
