I've uploaded version 0.96 of PPM-Make to CPAN:
http://search.cpan.org/dist/PPM-Make/
which is a package to make a ppm distribution from a CPAN distribution.
As well as fixing a few bugs, this contains a script called
make_ppm_install:
http://search.cpan.org/dist/PPM-Make/bin/make_ppm_install
which can be used within the CPAN.pm shell to install packages via ppm.
Doing so enables packages installed within the CPAN.pm shell to show up
in the ppm database. This requires version 1.92_56 or greater of CPAN.pm.
This feature is experimental - if you use it, please let me know if
you encounter any problems. Thanks.
