<WARNING - WAG>
I get this behavior, also, on an intermittent basis, not only when
installing, but when verifying, and other operations (in fact, it just
happened). It sometimes goes away with just running ppm again. The line
you refer to is simply a right brace with a comment which matches up
with another, so it isn't anything in the code itself. It seems like
this happens when my network (or AS's) is running slowly, which makes me
think it is a timeout problem with the browser. Blame it on the "adult"
sites (what a misnomer) and the daytrading dot-coms which are causing
the Internet to clog up, not Perl or PPM.
</WARNING - WAG>

BTW, running "verify" again (and it went all the way through), I see
that there is an upgrade to XML-Parser, but you have to download the zip
file and run it using the enclosed instructions.
