I'm sure my earlier posts (since the end of March) got lost in the
noise,
and I appreciate that ActiveState is busy, but:
Could you update the port of Compress::Zlib on the ActiveState PPM
archives
to at least v1.06? The current version is 1.08, while the version that
is
distributed with ActiveState's distributions is 1.03, which has a
seriously
broken inflate() routine.
The inflate() routine is needed by my Archive::Zip module.
PPM is quite capable of updating Compress::Zlib. So putting an updated
version on the AS PPM archives would be sufficient. Then I could point
people to it.
