Hello all, I am in dire need of a perl sub to take an array of fields and sort it based one of the fields in either ascending or descending. something like @array = &sortarray(@array, $field_no,$ASC_DESC); where $field_no is the field number to be sorted. Idealistically the array starts unsorted and is then returned sorted. I have been working on this for some time and I think it's time I asked for help. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!!!
