Hi, It's me...The Worm again...with a typically and especially wormy question. But first I want to thank Phil Newton and $Bill L. for their expert and coherant comments and everyone else who helps the other worms on this list. Ok, here is my slimey question: During my breaks, I would like to practice perl scripting on work computers but I don't want to have to install Perl on them. Will I lose a whole lot of functionality if I simply copy over the Perl\bin and Perl\lib directories and execute my scripts in the root of the bin directory? How sytem pervasive is Perl when installed on a Win32 NT server/workstation? Does it reach deep into the registry? I would like to avoid installing Perl....this way I could write my wormy code, but quickly remove the Perl binaries if necessary, should my even wormier boss start reaching for his glycerin pills when he finds out the "Devil's Language" is on one of his servers. Thanks, as always, for your input.
