I need to be able to monitor the number of times a form on a site is submitted.

I know the easiest way to do this would be to have the form-mail script, or
other script that the data is submitted to tally up the number of times it
has run.

However, we have an ad management system that runs on the same site. This
is a script that accepts a value of which ad is clicked, tallys up the
click, and re-directs to the ad's site. The catch, is this; the forms must
be monitored by the ad system too.

I have set the ad system to re-direct to the script, which works fine,
however, it looks like the values from the form are not passed (which is
what I expected really).

This then, leads me onto the question:

In this scenario, what's the best way to pass the variables onto the second
script? Is it best to get them as an environmental variable, or use the
cgi module to re-build the query string? Maybe the cgi module can just
pass $query to the next script?

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Roland
