I second this -- I just today moved an app to SQL Server because the Access
database was producing duplicated ID numbers. The database would corrupt
every couple of weeks, and 2 times we had to restore it from the daily
backups. The database in question only hade a 1000+ records, and been around
for a year or so.
If you value your data at all, you need to move to a robust DBMS like SQL
Server, and _learn_ that DBMS.
