I've spent days on this, and no FAQs out there seem to address it.
Sorry if this is basic, but...
Using IIS 4.x, I've got ActivePerl set up to run as a cgi.
Things like 'Hello World' work fine, but file i/o does not.
Something as basic as a file read bombs out, even though when I call
the perl from the command line, it works, no problem. I've put the
file I'm trying to access in the same directory as the script,
the same directory as the calling shtml, and the same directory as
my perl binary, and made sure that all of these have 'full
control' access for 'Everyone', and still nothing.
Am I missing something obvious?
