Has anyone every experienced this. I created a CGI script where I fill out some fields on a Web Page and then click a Submit button. From there a Win32::OLE session is set up with Excel 2000, a template is opened, the fields are filled in based on what is passed, and then the file is saved with a new datestamped filename. I clean up everything I'm supposed to, based on what I've seen in documentation and other sources. However, when the process is finished I have about 10 -15 new errors in my Application Event Log for the event MsiInstaller, complaining about 'Detection of product'. Everything seems to be working fine. I plan to try this on NT 4.0 and Excel 97 just to see if it's just 2000. Stanley G.
