Title: cgi and post_max

Hello,

Wonder if anyone can help me with this...

I am uploading files via a form and am attempting to limit the upload size using CGI::POST_MAX.
Everything appears to be working regarding the upload and file size limitation.
The problem:
When I encounter a cgi_error (post_max was exceeded) I am unable to send a meaningful msg, or any output, back to the browser.  Instead my browser (IE) pops up "Page cannot be displayed";  Netscape (on Solaris) is posting that a network pipe is broken.   I've seen a number of discussions regarding this but an unable to get any examples to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
