Is DB_File a big deal as a prerequisite? it's been in Perl since 5.00307. The other prereq is perl 5.8, but doing unicode work in Perls lower than that isn't really a good idea.
I only ask because the new version of MARC::Charset currently has the same dependencies, but I'd like ot make it easier to install if possible.
