Online Content Manager
MSD is an employee-owned company of over 600 professionals who support the 
diverse technical, scientific, and administrative needs of the Federal 
government. We are currently searching for an Online Content Manager to support 
one of our clients at the National Institutes of Health. This opportunity is 
permanent, full-time, and on site in Bethesda/Rockville, MD. MSD offers

Job Duties:

Training and Documentation:  
This position provides support in producing and managing education/information 
materials for the Unified Medical Language System and BSD (Bibliographic 
Services Division) teams. In addition, this position will assist with the UMLS 
end-user training program, as needed, including material review, and in-class 
support and lecturing. 

Technical Support:
This position provides technical support for the UMLS project, (Unified Medical 
Language System, http://www.nlm.nih.gov/pubs/factsheets/umls.html )  including 
software testing of the MetamorphoSys software, 
(http://www.nlm.nih.gov/pubs/factsheets/umlsmetamorph.html) web page design and 
maintenance, quality assurance testing of data, and data analysis.  

Customer service:  
This position will assist with the regular customer service activities.  This 
includes monitoring e-mail requests within Seibel, (internal help system) 
monitoring listserv activity, and responding to telephone enquires.  Updating 
and creating documentation related to customer service requests is also 
involved. 


Requirements:
=Requires experience with MS Office products, including MS Access and Excel.  
=Database design skills and relational database experience are a plus. 
=Requires experience with Dreamweaver (course builder preferred), JavaScript, 
and HTML.  
=Successful candidate should have exposure to content management software 
package such as TeamSite. The ability to 'write for the web' and knowledge of 
ADA compliance issues for the web are a plus.
=Should be able to deal pleasantly with complex topics and difficult people, 
user inquires and collect information and triage calls appropriately.
