Let's keep it firmly in mind that none of us are the target for this 
documenation.

I agree that the paragraph terms should be mentioned in this document
because they will be seen throughout the rest of the POD documentation and
are often misunderstood.  POD has a very special meaning for "paragraph"
that isn't quite what most people expect.

However, I do think providing the greek derivation of SYNOPSIS is not 
terribly useful to explain what its used for.  This is a concise tutorial
and that sort of thing just doesn't seem very utilitarian.
