I was hoping that you had got the point that that post: http://perlmonks.org/index.pl?node_id=458282 was *not* a complaint against Module::Build per se, but a request to module authors using or thinking of using Module::Build but not actually using any of it's unique features, and so doesn't belong in rt.cpan.org or on the Module-Build developers' list. It sounds from what you say now that you missed that.
