Regarding the -f option, I noticed that it isn't mentioned in the 
SYNOPSIS of perl's options in either perl.pod or perlrun.pod.  Should it be?

Actually, the SYNOPSIS in perl.pod is missing quite a few other options 
that perlrun.pod lists.  Perhaps the perl.pod options listing (only) 
should be removed since people are evidently forgetting to maintain it?
