Hello!

I have a file created by Storable version 2.15, perl version 5.6.1 (built for IP27-irix) on an irix system. When I try to read this file on my linux pc with Storable version 2.15 (as above), perl version 5.8.7, I get the error message "Byte order is not compatible at blib/lib/Storable.pm (autosplit into blib/lib/auto/Storable/_retrieve.al) line 331, at orthomcl_module.pm line 644". Orthomcl is the program trying to read the file. I have read the section about 64bit data and old versions of Storable, but in my case, the version is newer than 2.02. The only difference is perl versions, as far as I can see, but I didn't think that would be a problem. Do you have any idea what can cause this? If I could create the file on my linux pc, I would avoid the problem, but that is not possible because of memory limitations.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards
