Sorry things broke for you.

I filed an issue on GitHub
(https://github.com/CurtTilmes/raku-libcurl/issues/16) and copied the
emails there.

I published a new version 1.1 that will hopefully fix this.  Please
let me know (either in that issue, or file new issues) for anything
broken.
