PDD09 says that the acronym "DOD" for "dead object detection" is deprecated. At the moment, there are still a number of functions, variables, datafields and mentions in the PDDs of this acronym. This ticket is going to be a placeholder for keeping track of the status of this deprecation effort. I'll be working on this peicewise, when I have the tuits. --Andrew Whitworth
