$N represents a negative number.
Another thing, I remember you said:
$P ** Inf Inf
Which is not true.
It's actually
{ 0 , $P < 1
$P ** Inf { 1 , $P == 1
{ Inf, $P > 1
But perhaps we could forgo documenting any of the power cases and
leave it to common sense. OTOH, we could document every last detail.
I think the latter would be more suited to the goal of the project.
