DO_OP can certainly be a placeholder we rip out and replace as part of the
configuration process. We're not limited to C's macro system if we don't
want it. Heck, the whole interpreter loop can be reduced to a RUN_SOME_CODE
macro that's ripped out and replaced if we want.
