The adding s,/,\${slash},g to config/gen/makefiles.pl one? I took a look in config/gen/makefiles.pl and I don't see anywhere that you could put that in - the things are substituted in to the makefiles in Parrot::Configure::Step::genfile, right? Maybe I'm missing something. Thing is, when it's put in there it catches /'s that are not in paths and should stay as a /, not become whatever is in ${slash}. Brent gave the example of "xcopy /e" - if that / becomes a \ things won't work out for sure. Thanks, Jonathan
