Hi all - I don't know if this is the right list for this email, but it seemed like the most relevant one. Currently, we're using perl-5.6.1 and are having problems with memory leaks - thanks to reference counting.
I'm just curious how stable parrot's GC engine is, and how much effort it'd take to incorporate into perl-5. I'm assuming we'd need to play around with the code in sv.c, etc.., and it'd take some dedication to have it working. Would it even make sense to try this out? If it's not so hard, I'd just want to give it a shot to see how much it helps with these leaks. What do you think? Thanks, Ozgun.
