I configured my parrot with:
perl Configure.pl --prefix=/Users/dakkar/Perl6/
but I got this error:
Generating makefiles and other build files...
step gen::makefiles died during execution:
config/gen/makefiles/root.in:26: line ends in a slash
at Configure.pl line 336
I removed the '/' at the end of the value for the --prefix parameter,
and everything configured correctly.
