That's suspicious. It makes me think about invalid bytecode. I wonder if
removing compilers/json/JSON.pbc and running make again would fix it.
Have any of you who see this done a make realclean recently?

I was going to say that I always did "make realclean" as part of my
"remake-parrot" script. But for some reason, probably in order to speed
up the final iterations of binary SVN search, I had commented that bit
out, and forgot to restore it. Oops.
Actually (apart from the embarassment of goofing so publicly), this
is a big relief. It explains a lot of other flakiness I've been seeing
over the interval. Thanks for having spot-on suspicions!
