I recall some discussion about going to 5.8.4 -- but not 5.8.6. 5.8.4 is the level of Perl included in many distributions such as Debian. Are you really sure you want to go to 5.8.6 just for one module? Why not require that version of Storable directly? Thank you very much. kid51
