You could overload
FILE < STRING
to be a print operator returning a FILE so we can do C++ like
cout << "hello Bjarne" <<eol;
as an example;
I have to rewrite my RFC about "redirection" so it mentions
the open FOO, "&>BAR" syntax from the bottom of perldoc -f open
