D'oh! Yes, quotes, right....
I like the idea that regular expressions, er, I mean, pattern matching
does grammar-like things now. And the fact that you can derive. I would
love to see perl replace yacc, for the most part. Perl's looking like a
*very* powerful text processing language, on a higher level than it was
before.
I'm just expressing my respect for the new design.
