I'm not fond of .:: because I don't think it's sufficiently visually distinct from .:.

I don't have a better suggestion...but that's mostly because I dislike this entire concept of secondary sigils. I already get to have the "Perl is line noise!" conversation _way_ too often...I don't feel that we need to give the trolls more ammunition. For that matter, I'm a Perl zealot and /I/ think they're ugly and obfuscatory.

For what it's all worth, I suppose.
