Just to clarify, these were the fonts that you had success with?

FWIW, the (.otf) FreeMono -- Regular font works fine on my MacOS system
(Terminal.app), with the words 𝐑𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐝𝐨™ and  𝐑𝐚𝐤𝐮™ appropriately
showing up in Bold.
